How to Find Motivation

If a job involves a lengthy process, dividing it into smaller, more manageable tasks may do the trick. It’s a matter of knowing how much you can do at a time before you lose focus.
Have rewards in place. It’s easy to get bored when you’re stuck on a work that you deem monotonous and less interesting. Trying to find a more stimulating task becomes the unnecessary distraction. You can turn this to your advantage. Consider the more engrossing activity as your reward after you complete a job.
Any work that requires you to sit for long periods can be tedious and challenging. If you tend to become restless when repressed from being active, set a time limit. You can try working on a task that demands concentration and less movement for 15 minutes. Then alternate it with an activity that will allow you to move around.
