Take 10 slow and deep breaths before entering a stressful situation. We are not aware that we hold our breath when we encounter stress.
Stretch and move around for a few minutes between tasks. It will help you come back relaxed and focused.
Smiling can help boost your emotional wellbeing. Smiling stimulates nerve impulses from the facial muscles to the limbic system. This system is the emotional center of the brain. Smile and let yourself feel happy. This will in turn make you relax.
4. Say no.
Don’t commit to every little commitment. Doing so will promote the feeling of stress.
